Brief Information about college

The MGV's K. B. H. Law College has started its journey in June 1971, with intent to provide legal education. Our college is an integral part of the highly and well known institution of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir. A visionary and educationist, the Late Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray, has established this institution. Since the year 1952, it is constantly provides quality education to the masses of Northern Maharashtra. At present, we have under our umbrella a number of schools and colleges in various spheres of activities. The Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir at present running 5 Colleges of Arts, Science & Commerce, 5 Colleges providing Arts & Commerce, 1 College of Education, 2 Dental College & Hospital, 2 B. Pharmacy Colleges, 1 H.M.C.T. College, 2 M.B.A. Colleges, 20 Higher Secondary Schools, 17 Junior Colleges, 3 Primary Schools, 42 High Schools, 2 Agriculture Schools, 1 D.Ed. College, 1 B.Ed. College etc.

The K.B.H. Law College is first Law College at Taluka level in the State of Maharashtra and affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is accredited by NAAC and also recognized by Bar Council of India as well as Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. The College has qualified, competent and admirable teaching and non teaching staff. Our entire staff work with total dedication and strives to help the students to attain high standard levels of intellectual and educational competence. The College always promotes the spirit of brotherhood and develops mutual respect for one another towards developing admirable national character. Furthermore, considering the need, in the year 2006 the college has started the self financed one year Diploma in Taxation Law (D.T.L.) course.
